In 2000, as A. Lincoln Taber and Danny Pockets prepared to enter the third millenium they began to recognise what an amazing occasion
it would be to pass through the portals of time into the year 2000…
They realised they had to mark the occasion with something truly monumental, something very human, something that had the possibility
to transcend the constraints of time itself…
at/dp decided to document the event and passing into the new age by making an itinerary of the contents of their pockets within a regular time frame.
What is initially disposeable ephemera, with the passage of time, is very quickly turned into historical artefact.
Now, almost ten years old, and after a six year gap 'at/dp' have decided the time is right to present the work to the public again…
